Musicians vs Programmers

After working closely with programmers now for the past 4 years, I realize that they are essentially the same as the musicians I've worked with for the past 20 years...

1) They have tremendous egos
2) They don't take well to criticism
3) They can only concentrate when there is music playing
4) Their organizational ability in found somewhere between their fingers and their brain
5) They make inside jokes that aren't really funny to anyone else
6) They can live off of junk food and Coke
7) They wear the same clothes over and over
8) They are obsessed with new gear
9) They don't do too well at social gatherings
10) They stay up way late at night
11) They prefer working on a case by case basis
12) They watch Star Trek a lot
13) Their laundry is never done

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
