I'm sitting in Ben's office sweating my ass off after losing a whole day to moving crap out of the office. It's part of the never ending process of keeping things happening in Taipei, which requires 300% of your time, and returns only 10% on the investment. Only your great staff come out at times like this. Like Kris. 8:30am, a Coke Light and a sweetroll, ready to go. And she even brought her husband, Ah-Tse, who's leaving on a flight the same day. That's dedication.

I've moved so many times in the past few years that it's sort of like a dental procedure. I just get up, arrive, and deal with it. Ben had some extra ping space for all this unneeded but impossible to get rid of corporate junk. He always comes through for me. We had a few minutes to talk before he crashed. He just got back from the US. We decided that we are both seriously burnt out on this place.

I'm wondering if I should just find a job watching my ass, live off the fixed salary, rather than dealing with building media and technical companies, convincing partners, and hooking up that always de-valued investment. I see no happiness in my next 5 years, if I continue down this soul draining road of CEO in Asia.

That's why Brett calls me the "Taz." The Tazmanian Devil. Spinning around like a wildman, making wild shit happen. Is that an insult or a compliment? Or just reality?
