Moon Festival BBQ

I was invited to an interesting kind of block party for Moon Festival Day. Some of my tennis buddies live in an exclusive high rise community, and all the residents got together to throw a big Moon Festival BBQ. There were probably 600 people there, they had a big stage set up, a band, karaoke, a "prettiest girl in the community" talent show, laser lights, tango dancing for the old folks, and even a large TV screen behind the stage. I was captivated by the amount of roasted pig and chicken. They invited a group of professional aboriginal BBQ-ers to set up traditional charcoal pits and roast Taiwanese mountain boars and mountain chickens.

After a few beers, I took Kenny (the red guy) out to hear some bluegrass music by an interesting group called "Ass 9".

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
