Foraging in Chaoyang District

One of the things I've grown to really enjoy about Beijing is that almost everything can be delivered to your door. When you're at home working on something, or just lazy and tired, you can make a call, and people will being you food or beer or groceries, whatever.

So I call Annie's (the local Italian Restaurant) across the street, which makes a fortune keeping lazy foreigners fed on delivered pasta, salads, and pizze, to bring over some late lunch.

And they were closed for Chinese New Year!

Damn, I had to actually venture outside and find food for myself.

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
