New rules at CKS

Corbett | March 1, 2007 6:19 AM

Apparently starting today there are new security procedures in effect for CKS airport requiring you to arrive 3 hours ahead of time. If anyone has every flown through the old CKS terminal, you'd appreciate the super quick in and out effectiveness of this worn out 60's remnant. You could arrive 40 min before an international flight and usually beg your way onto the flight. Now the place is crawling with cops checking to see if you have any plastic bags greater than 1 liter capacity in your carry on. I got there way early since I pulled an all nighter, and the place was packed. At 5:45am. Go figure.

Now I have two hours to kill wondering why in the world I got here so early.

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
