Semen cannabis paste

I'm not quite sure how I feel after this dessert I had last night on Changle lu.
In Chinese it was called 火麻仁湖, a kind of gooey bowl of black speckled pudding that tasted like sesame.
In English it was called Semen Cannabis Paste, and made me think about the joke where the dumb robbers break into a bank, only to discover a fridge filled with delicious tapioca pudding...
To ease my stomach, I checked out what 火麻仁 (huo ma ren) really was, and it turns out it's cannabis seeds, which actually are a traditional Chinese herb used to "strengthen the Yin and moisten the intestines." The semen part comes from it's Latin name of Semen Cannabis Sativae.

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
