You turn your head away...

I turn the TV and computer off for a week while I'm scrambling around Ningbo and all this amazing stuff happens.

1) Taiwan's ex-president A-Bian gets caught laundering $20mil to a secret Swiss account.
2) The Taiwanese lose in baseball to China.
3) The Chinese bean a US batter in the head in retaliation for running over their catcher.
4) A 14 year old Chinese gymnast suddenly ages 2 years in four months and wins a gold.
5) Liu Xiang cops out.

My response:

1) Like this wasn't obvious already. What about all that money "sent" to those weird African, South American, and Pacific Island "allies."
2) Speechless.
3) A metaphor for US/China relations to come?
4) So is anyone going to point the finger or what?
5) Adidas must be popping corks now after crapping their pants while Li Ning floated through the air. The question is 'Will Nike change their motto to "Just Don't Do It" or will they just dump Liu Xiang?'

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
