Why didn't they just smoke it?

2,700-year-old marijuana found in Chinese tomb

"The 18 researchers, most of them based in China, subjected the cannabis to a battery of tests, including carbon dating and genetic analysis. Scientists also tried to germinate 100 of the seeds found in the cache, without success."

OK, so there's 18 guys and a mummy sitting around a tomb somewhere in "a remote part" of NW China and they find 789 grams of 2700 year old pot in a bag - and no one says "Dude, let's smoke this shit and find out?"

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
