The #1 Line in Arabic

I take the subway into work each day, and like many urban commuters, I try to ignore the crush and rush of millions people by listening to music. i used to hear hours of music a day when I was running my club, but I've been so busy the past few years - in an office - I haven't had enough time to really listen to anything, let alone discover new music. So I really enjoy my hour commute, turning it into a time to listen to NPR podcasts, and perusing the gigs of unheard stuff I've now got on my HD.

if you see me smiling and bopping on the train, it's because of musicians like Rachid Taha. I had no idea who he was, but I sure knew this song, and I found the irony of it sung in Arabic that much more funny.

3q2u is written by Corbett Wall, and is really just a window into my quirky little world. It's also a way for me to exercise my thoughts and make random comments outside of cultural, language, or business barriers.

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
