It just seemed cool to get a New Year's card from the Shaolin Temple. Not what you really expected, so I wanted to share it. (I was there a few weeks ago to visit with Shi Yongxin and his crew.) He's gotten a lot of negative press for their plans to IPO, but I think it's just realizing that they need a lot more attention and money to get their message across. The Vatican has been actively accumulating wealth for 2000 years, why not the Shaolin?
