The lung of Shanghai

it's nice to know this little nugget of information about the district where I live in Shanghai. The Shanghai Daily has a nice little site about Minhang, and this bit of information caught my eye - under "Green Environment."

"Not only does Minhang District have a forest coverage of nearly 40% it also has a per capita public green area that reaches 15.4 square meters, which is 4 square meters more than the downtown of the city. Thus making Minhang District the "lung of Shanghai."

I live in the lung of Shanghai. I wonder who lives in the spleen, or the gall bladder?

3q2u is an acronym which if said in Chinese and Japanese sounds like "Thank you to you!" Dumb but easy to remember. More >>
