Where you going to put the tubes?
Mr. Wang was pretty happy there were extra hands around his shop, and assigned Xiao Lio and I to wire up someone's receiver, which we dutifully did while we chatted about what kind of tubes were going to go into this Marshall. I told them a couple of EL84s, then the question came up where I was going to put them. I hadn't thought that far ahead since I was still pretty heady over having solved my lingering chassis problem in less than an hour.
Before I could say "EL84" again, Mr. Wang was digging through a box of scrap, and pulled out an L-shaped piece of aluminum. "I just took this out of a dead stereo this morning. This should do the trick. Better plug that drill back in."

I've never figured out whether it's pronounced "Moe's (like owned by one of three stooges) or Moss (like that guy out of Bonanza), but the one down the hill from me is open until 2am most days, which means that if I get out of the club early enough, I can catch the best burger in town, the muo si la bao or the Spicy Mos Burger. They have lots of jalapenos and
