Words » Junior and his magic saxophone
Preface
It's strange to think that you will read this first before venturing on into the rest of this book. So I won't give away any details like what happens during the camping trip, or in the hallway when I meet Fat Wayne, or when I see Cleo. I'll let you find out for yourself. We all have to find out things. That what makes life so much fun. That's why growing up was so challenging. There was always something new happening. Something different around the corner. Something to wonder about.
I had a special childhood. I grew up in the 1920's. I knew things about people and places that ceased to exist before I was even born. To make it even more complicated, I started my life on one side of the world, and suddenly began a different life on the other side. I used to be Japanese once.
As a child I was always out of place. I spent a lot of time alone. I thought a lot too. I thought I was the only one with this problem, that is until one day I turned thirty, and realized that WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT. Then I started to wonder about things again. That's when I remembered Junior.
I hope that this story will make you wonder about things again. Try to figure things out. After all, that's about all a person can really do during his life, don't you think?
